Looking for Something?
I know what it’s like to get started. As a blogger myself, I was in beginner’s shoes once. Starting as a new mom who hired a website designer, I quickly discovered that I wanted to make it easy, convenient, and simple for anyone to start their own boss babe empire or develop their passion.
Today, most online business owners or bloggers use Facebook and/or Instagram to market their services or products. If not, you should. However, for this post, we will discuss other social media platforms besides Facebook and Instagram that a business owner or blogger can consider using to grow their businesses and promote their services and products. Let us take a look beyond Facebook and Instagram, and explore other social media platforms for your consideration.
The Clubhouse App
The Clubhouse App was introduced last year and has grown in popularity. It is a social media platform that is strickly audio based. It’s not like Facebook or Instagram. There are no picture or video sharing. When the Clubhouse App was first introduced, it was by invitation only. Now, anyone can join the app.
According to The Clubhouse (Source: Clubhouse.com) website, you can use the app to tell stories, ask questions, debate and learn.
The Clubhouse App allows you to discover rooms and listen in on the conversation. And, if you would like to join in the conversation, there is a “raise hand” option. Like being in school again, just not in person.
A user can also host a room of their own, where they can conversate on just about anything, whatever your business niche may be. It’s a great app for discoverability and collaborating.
They also have a payment method in place where users can pay their favorite creators. And 100% of the payments goes directly to the creator, not Clubhouse. The only fee will go to Stripe, their payment processing partner.
TikTok
According to the TikTok website, TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video (Source: TikTok.com). Their mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. It’s all about short videos. When the app was first introduced, it was mainly used by young users to express their creativity and share it with others on the platform. Now, more and more business accounts are using TikTok to promote their services or products. It’s all about discoverability!
TikTok business accounts offer exclusive access to specialized resources that help businesses up their TikTok game and build strong content strategies (Source: TikTok.com).
TikTok is a great way to build brand identify and reach users on an entirely different level than Facebook or Instagram. By creating short videos, a user can show the basic ideas behind their brand. They can even illustrate how to use their products, and show their personality, all in one short video clip.
LinkedIn
LinkedIn states on their website that they are the largest professional network on the internet. The world’s largest professional network with 774+ million members in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide (Source: LinkedIn.com). On this platform, users can find jobs, learn new skills to enhance their career, and create professional relationships.
LinkedIn users can download a resume, apply for jobs and collaborate with others in their profession. Users can also search for internships and other professions within their career category.
What is important to note about LinkedIn, is that bloggers can also use the platform. Bloggers can post direcly to LinkedIn or they can share their blog posts. With over 775 million members, LinkedIn can help your website or blog traffic tremendously. And who doesn’t want more blog traffic?

Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are my top 3. Although I don’t use YouTube nearly enough but it’s perfect for my blog so that I can show tutorials for bloggers.
I can also auto-set my post to show on Twitter and Facebook with out any extra work on my end. This is great and saves me a lot of time.Twitter is where I get most of my traffic from too.
