save for later
I've worked with SiteGround for many, many years. Not only on my customer's sites but also my WordPress demo sites like the Ellie Jane theme. Since I started designing WordPress themes in 2009 I've worked with many hosting providers. SiteGround is one of my faves! Not only is their customer service great but the speed of my sites are phenomenal.
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links to SiteGround. If you decide to purchase one of their plans, I’ll receive a small commish at no cost to you… mama’s got to pay the bills so thanks for your support.
Step 1: Choose a Hosting Plan
SiteGround has three plans and if you sign up through my affiliate link here you will receive a discount.
The StartUp plan is perfect for those with one website and that are just getting started. Keep in mind that you can always upgrade later to a bigger plan when you need to. This is the one I recommend.
The GrowBig plan is a great in value, including the option for multiple websites and Ultrafast PHP that greatly improves website speed.
The GoGeek plan is perfect for those with e-commerce and larger sites, or more geeky development needs like more server resources and GIT integration.
Step 2: Choose a Domain Name
Choose to buy a new domain, or sign up with an existing domain you already own. They offer a wide range of domain extensions at awesome prices.
Step 3: Review and Complete the Order
Unlike many other hosting providers, their advertised discount applies to any of the initial periods chosen during the sign up process. Being able to get the low price for the one year period is a fact that increases conversions greatly in comparison to other providers where the lowest monthly price applies only for the longest period.
After you create your WordPress site... it's time to choose a design!
