Looking for Something?
I know what it’s like to get started. As a blogger myself, I was in beginner’s shoes once. Starting as a new mom who hired a website designer, I quickly discovered that I wanted to make it easy, convenient, and simple for anyone to start their own boss babe empire or develop their passion.
What is one of the first things you might do before making a purchase from a business? If the website offers a blog, you will probably read through some of the blog posts to get a feel for the business. What the business offers, how long the business has been operating, and testimonials from previous customers or clients. A blog offers a glimpse inside and allows you to objectively consider whether or not to hire or buy from the business. With that in mind, I thought I would write a blog post and introduce you to business partners who help keep Studio Mommy running smoothly! This will allow you to get to know me and my partners on a personal level. Now let’s take a peek behind the scenes here at Studio Mommy.
Studio Mommy Creator
Of course, my name is April and I am the creator of Studio Mommy. I have been operating my small business since 2010. My husband and I have three beautiful children and we have been married since I was 18 years old. I started by hiring a website designer. It was after that when I came to the realization that I wanted to make it easy, convenient, and simple for anyone to start their own boss babe empire! So, Studio Mommy was born! Now, let me introduce you to the rest of my business partners.
Each of these individuals is responsible for helping me grow my business.
Author Assistant
First, meet Cori of www.corinaramos.net. I have been working with Cori since 2015. We have become very good friends. She lives in the Houston area just like I do. Besides work, we talk a lot about our family and things happening in Houston. Cori’s specialty is assisting authors with their social media and blog posts so they can concentrate on writing. She assist Studio Mommy clients with building their websites if they are not tech-savvy.
Website Design
Next, we have Kimberly of À la mode Design. I met Kimberly on Etsy sometime in 2020. She purchased one of my themes for her own site and we instantly connected. Kimberly is obsessed with helping bloggers turn their sites from “Um, it’s OK” to “OKURRR!” She started as a fashion & lifestyle blogger but found her passion in graphic design when she was building her own site. Kimberly loves to help out my clients who purchase one of my themes or templates build their very own websites. Her website is www.kimberlyyarbough.com.
Virtual Assistant Services
Meet Christina of Limitless Virtual Services. She runs her own Virtual Assistant Business and has been my VA for over two years. Christina helps me with my Instagram account by creating graphics and scheduling posts. She also writes my blog posts and manages my Pinterest account. And, she helps me create and send my monthly newsletters. Her website is www.limitlessvirtualservices.com.
Branding, Copywriting, and SEO
Lastly, meet Madison, of New York Diamond (Etsy shop). Madison helps me with branding, copywriting, and Search Engine Optimization. New York Diamond offers leading writing, editing, marketing & branding services. You can visit Madison’s website at www.etsy.com/shop/TheWriteBrain.
Thank you all for your support of my small business through the years and for taking a peek behind the scenes at Studio Mommy. It’s because of you that I am able to pursue my dream. And, I hope that I have made it possible for you to pursue your dream as well! Please share your journey in the comments with me!
