Looking for Something?
I know what it’s like to get started. As a blogger myself, I was in beginner’s shoes once. Starting as a new mom who hired a website designer, I quickly discovered that I wanted to make it easy, convenient, and simple for anyone to start their own boss babe empire or develop their passion.
A question that I get asked quite often by my clients. And the answer is always the same. Yes, you should have a logo for your blog or business. When starting the branding process, a professional logo should be on the top of your to-do list. Why do I need a logo, you ask? Here are a few good reasons why logos are important.
We, as consumers, identify a company by its logo. Look at these examples. Immediately, we know by just by glancing which company they represent.
If for no other reason, a logo is essential because it will be your brand’s identity. A visual representation of your business. For this reason, it should be memorable and easy to recognize.
A logo will give the customer an honest first impression of your brand. Have you ever visited a website and immediately left because the logo was unprofessional or hard to read? We, as humans, can be so judgmental! First impressions are SO important!
Your logo will also be what the customer uses to identify your brand in any communication they receive from you. Therefore, it should grab attention. A business uses its logo on different types of communication marketing tools. A few examples would be business cards, marketing items, and products.
A professional, simple logo will separate you from your competitors. It is crucial to research before you decide on your logo design. Try not to use the same symbols or colors that they currently use. Remember, you want your logo to be memorable.
Logo Design
Before deciding on a logo, here are a few tips to consider:
Your logo should contain your business name.
Your logo should be simple and not hard to read.
Clear but professional font.
However, your logo should match your brands color palette. With that, do not use too many colors or too many images. Keep it simple and use just a few coordinating colors.
If you send out mass quantities of publications or other marketing items, it may be a good idea to have a few different font alternatives.
Make sure it identifies your brand, especially if you plan to use an image. I have chosen to use a simple logo. My logo consists of my business name and a catchy phrase showing how long my business has been established. Notice the different fonts? Using different font combinations can help your logo stand out on your website.
Even though it’s simple and to the point, using different fonts can help people recognize your logo and brand style.
I hope this has convinced you how important it is to have a professional and simple logo for your business. I have several stylish logos that are simply chic and beautiful! They are universally flattering for every type of online content with enough flair to make it your own and match your branding.
