I looked for the perfect WordPress theme for so long. The free ones didn’t have the features I wanted, and the ones that did were super expensive! I came across this theme on Etsy, and I couldn’t have made a better decision for my website! It’s the most beautiful minimalist design that I was looking for with all of the features I wanted. I was worried about SEO-friendliness and responsiveness, but it’s perfect in those arenas too! You don’t have to worry if you don’t know how to do all of the technical stuff because it walks you through every step and makes it so easy. Overall, you couldn’t find a better theme for the price.

A few months ago I bought and installed the Kate Marcado theme from Studio Mommy as part of a revamp of my branding. It is a gorgeous theme and the instructions on the Studio Mommy site are so clear, for somebody like me who is not particularly “tech” minded! I made a few changes myself to get the site exactly how I wanted it and there were a few things that I wanted to change but was just unable to figure out how to do it. I emailed April for advice and she has just been so, so helpful. I have since emailed a couple of times regarding little things and always a quick response and very helpful attitude. So glad I found Studio Mommy!

I would give 10 stars to April if I could. She has been nothing but helpful and gracious in our interactions. I consider myself to be fairly tech-savvy, so I tried to install the theme myself but I already have a steep learning curve with a lot of other things in this undertaking & WordPress for some reason seemed daunting. I asked April to install it for me and I feel like it is money well spent. It is a lot easier for me to have her set it up the way I envision and use what she did to teach myself how to add to it. I find April very easy and professional to work with. She goes the extra mile by making videos showing exactly what I need to do to get the goal I want to achieve. She even went out of her way to find a solution to a problem that eliminated the need for her to do custom coding (which was very reasonably priced anyway). Her website also has a lot of good recommendations (that she has gleaned from years of experience) and practical videos I can use to learn how to do different things as my website grows. There is so much information and different companies out there marketing their goods and services, I am grateful for her expertise to point me in the right direction rather than wasting time and money figuring it out for myself. I’ve never bought something like this that is essentially a template of a website design that I change to my liking & needs. Of course, if I had the budget for it, it would be easier to hire someone to build a custom site, but for the money, April is a fabulous value.
