Looking for Something?
I know what it’s like to get started. As a blogger myself, I was in beginner’s shoes once. Starting as a new mom who hired a website designer, I quickly discovered that I wanted to make it easy, convenient, and simple for anyone to start their own boss babe empire or develop their passion.
Please Note: If your blog is displaying a “Coming Soon” page then you will not be able to create a Feedburner account yet. After you make your blog “Live” please come back to setup your Feedburner account.
Feedburner is a free service you can use to have visitor subscribe to your blog. Here are the steps on how to setup your feedburner account.
Where it says “Burn a Feed This Instant” add your blog url then click on “Next”.
If it says “you have more than one feed” choose Feed and not Comments Feed then click next.
When your on the page that says “Welcome! Let us burn a feed for you.” Change any information you need to then click next at the bottom.
Continue and follow the rest of the instructions.
If you purchased a blog design from me then you will need to copy the Feed Address to include it in your gadget/widget. See the picture below to find the Feed Address.
Last step – After you are done with above you will need to enable your subscription service. See the image below on how to do this.
Go to your WordPress site and upload/activate the Genesis eNews Extended plugin if you haven’t already. Then go to “Appearance” > “Widgets”. Add the Genesis eNews Extended widget to your primary sidebar or other location that your theme tutorial suggest. Fill in the information requested as shown in the image below.
When done click “Save” at the bottom of the widget.
