When you’re an online business owner and going at it solo – A.K.A. solopreneur, there are a ton of things to do. There’s promoting your business, creating new products, writing content for your blog posts and of course, keeping up with an online presence on social media. And that’s only part of the ‘must do’ list. Don’t get me started on the backend of it!
And with the current situation where schools are shut down due to the Coronavirus, most of us now have kids at home. Which means they’ll need our attention and we will have to entertain them so that they don’t get bored out of their wits.
Bored kids equals mischief and mischief means more stuff for us to clean. And we can’t have that now, can we mamas? But I digress… ????
Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links to the Tailwind tool. If you decide to purchase this app, I’ll receive a small commish at no cost to you… mama’s got to pay the bills so thanks for your support.
Regardless of what’s going on around us, the show must go on. You just need the right tools that will do most of the work and save you time.
My favorite social media platform is Pinterest. And you all know Pinterest is where it’s at when it comes to driving traffic your website and to sell products. For me, that would be my premium WordPress themes.
I started using Tailwind (affiliate) about six months ago, but I never appreciated like I do now! If I had to describe the Tailwind app, I’d say it’s kind of like a ‘set it and forget it’ tool.
After you complete your profile set up and configure your Pinterest account, click on Your Schedule to set up your pinning schedule. This is where the magic happens!
You’ll notice there will be time slots that the Tailwind app will have already added.
There is also a checklist on the right to guide you through the steps to really maximize your reach.
No need to put this to-do on a calendar. The SmartLoop feature will automatically share your evergreen or seasonal content. And you’ll get a snapshot of how your SmartLoop posts are doing.
I haven’t created one yet, but you can also set up Board Lists for one-click scheduling. Let’s say you published a new blog post and want to pin it to several boards or categories. This feature will take care of that for you!
If you’re wondering whether Tailwind works, check out my latest stats. In the last 7 days, I’ve gotten 47 repins, 8 domain pins.
Once you have your time slots, SmartLoop and Board List set up, grab the Tailwind extension and you’re all good to go!
So that’s how Tailwind can save you hours of work. If you’re struggling to find time to promote your business or blog on social media – particularly on Pinterest and Instagram, click here (affiliate) to try Tailwind for free.
