Hey lovelies! I have a quick, small update for you. There are 2 things I updated on the Hailey Wells WordPress theme. This update is not mandatory. You are welcome to continue to use your current version of the Hailey Wells theme, if you are not experiencing any problems.

1. Instagram/Social Page

I was originally using the WP Latest Post plugin for this page but I continued to have problems with it. Sometime the images would not show, they wouldn’t align correctly, it was confusing to setup, etc. I decided to change the Instagram page. If you are having trouble with your Instagram/Social page then please do this update. Click HERE to see this page live.

2. Category Page

The Hailey Wells theme lacked a category template. The original category page looked just like the blog post page. It did not stand out, to let your visitors know they were on a different page. I redesigned this page so that it has its own look. Click HERE to take a look at the new category page for the Hailey Wells WordPress theme.

How to Update Hailey Wells WordPress Theme

Step 1

You will first need to download the updated theme and save them to your computer. 

• Studio Mommy Customers – If you purchased the Hailey Wells theme from StudioMommy.com please log into your account to download the new update.
• Creative Market Customers – If you purchased from my Creative Market shop please send me a support ticket and I will get those files over to you ASAP.
• Etsy Customers – If you purchased this theme from Etsy please send me a support ticket and I will get those files over to you ASAP.

If you have trouble downloading the new update please send me a support ticket.

Step 2

If you already have the Hailey Wells theme installed on your blog… you will first need to delete it before you can install the updated one. I have a tutorial on how to do this in case your not sure. Please Note: if you made any changes in the CSS code (or PHP) of the design then these changes will be removed when installing the new update.
