I’m still in the works on fixing my site. I had to transfer to a new host to get SSL security since my old host wanted to charge over 100 bucks. Nice they are jumping on the GDPR cash cow. So I transferred, all my images went missing. I disabled my newsletter and any plugin like analytics until I know further what I need to do. I already have a privacy policy but I think it’s too complicated and now have to fix that, along with terms of service. I think I only get 4 EUR visitors LOL but man this has been a nightmare for me. Glad to see you’ve taken the steps. What bloggers don’t realize yet is that even our themes and every plugin we use has to be somewhat compliant in how we use them. This includes using things like Wordfence which tracks your ip address. It’s a lot to take it.

Agreed. I’m very overwhelmed to. I have to count on the plugins I’m using to be GDPR compliant. I know some of them have made some changes and others still haven’t. The best advice that I’ve been giving to everyone is to disclose, disclose, disclose. Be honest and upfront about everything, from your reason why you collect anyones info and how you plan to use it. Best of luck.

You’ve put in the work to make awesome content, now it’s time to dress up your site with a stunning design.
